The Only Way Unnecessary Abortion Can End Before Christ Returns

This information is being provided to the churches by the Misfits. I, __________________ of __________________, do humbly admit that I am a Misfit. Misfits are those who are called Christians [1] even though they do not fit into Catholicism (belief in the papacy) or Protestantism (belief in scripture alone). Misfits believe, as Catholics do, that there is a chair of Peter, but they believe, as Catholics don’t, that it has always been possible for the vicar of Peter to promulgate a nondestructive error. Misfits are the first ones to know the only way that the visible Church can be restored before Christ returns. That would only come about through the categorization of three things into two categories each. Those three things are the binary questions, the correct answers, and the incorrect answers. Misfits are also the first ones to know the only way abortion can end before Christ returns. That is the topic of this paper. Footnotes are provided so that Catholic and Protestant readers can understand the Misfit terminology.

The world will be better prepared for Christ’s return if it has stopped doing unnecessary abortions [2] by the time he returns. Judgment upon the world will be worse if unnecessary abortions are still being done at the time Christ returns. The seven steps below give us the only way unnecessary abortions can end before Christ returns. Each step is a prerequisite of the next step. Every reader will have a hard time accepting at least one step. At least one step will be repulsive to every reader. Conservatives will be repulsed by some steps and liberals will be repulsed by other steps. But the only way that unnecessary abortions can end before Christ returns is if all of these steps are taken. No matter how shocking a step sounds, please keep reading. If you refuse to give serious prayerful consideration to some of these steps, then you might have to explain, at a later date, why you refused to do so. That’s because this information is of utmost importance.

1.     The Roman Catholic Church must admit that infallibility is no more than an inability to promulgate destructive errors and that it has always been possible for a vicar of Peter [3] to promulgate a nondestructive error [4].

2.     The Church [5] must admit that it is not a mortal sin [6] to use conception control in a non-levirate marriage. To say otherwise is to teach a nondestructive error that has been taught ever since the early bishops of the Church. It is not part of sacred tradition, because it was not taught by the apostles. God made the male in a manner that gives him a brief window of time to exercise the method of conception control that was exercised by Onan [7]. This natural method is automatically done if a man has gotten a vasectomy. It is always a sin for a man to get a vasectomy, because it goes against God’s design. But the only time it is a mortal sin, for a man to get a vasectomy, is if he owes his deceased brother a child in levirate marriage as Onan did.

3.     The Church must recognize that, it always pleases God, when any man, except for him who owes his deceased brother a child in levirate marriage, decides to get a vasectomy. This is because our decisions are motivated by our desires and our desires come either from God (Php 2:13) or from Satan (Eph 2:3). Consider two men, a spiritual man and a carnal man. The spiritual man sees fatherhood as a blessing (Psa 127:3-5) and the carnal man sees it as a burden. The carnal man’s desire to avoid the “burden” of fatherhood motivates him to make one of two decisions: 1. Get a vasectomy or 2. Count on his female partner getting an abortion if she ever conceives. Satan wants this carnal man to make the 2nd choice, because babies are conceived in original sin. God wants him to make the 1st choice so that an unwanted child, and oftentimes an illegitimate child, does not get conceived. Even though this carnal man cannot please God (Rom 8:8), his decision to get a vasectomy does please God. That’s because the decision is motivated by the “threat” of his female partner becoming spiritually minded enough to not get the abortion. Also, his decision leads her not into the temptation of abortion.

Although it’s rare, it’s also possible for a spiritual man to decide on a vasectomy. It would be a vasectomy with a godly motivation behind it. For example, he or his wife might suffer from a genetic disorder. Or it could be that, instead of having their own children, they desire to adopt as many children from the orphanage as they can afford. In rare cases like these, the decision to get a vasectomy is still a sin because it goes against God’s design; but it is pardonable and pleasing to God nonetheless due to the godly motivation behind that decision.

4.     The Church must encourage men who make an unwanted fetus [8], to get a vasectomy. By doing so, the mother of his fetus will be more likely to agree to deliver his baby to the orphanage, instead of seeking an abortion. She needs to understand that the one who created the fetus is the partner who bears the higher responsibility for its well-being, and that, by getting the vasectomy he is taking action to ensure her that he will not overpopulate the orphanage with unwanted babies. The less populated the orphanage is, the better the chance of a child finding a good foster family. This is supply and demand. One of the mother’s greatest concerns, if not the greatest, is that supply will exceed demand so much that there will not be a good family to provide for her child. It’s the same sort of concern that owners of an unwanted pet feel when they consider placing their pet in an animal shelter. The difference, of course, is that one has a soul and the other doesn’t. The cumulative concern of all mothers for the well-being of unwanted fetuses is reduced by the cumulative agreement of all fathers to get a vasectomy whenever they make an unwanted fetus.

The reason for the emphasis on vasectomies, up to this point, is that the only way abortion can end before Christ returns is if vasectomies replace abortions. Unwanted pregnancy is not a problem amongst those of us who are abiding in Christ, but it is a problem in the world. Their solution is either vasectomy or abortion. They think abortion is the better solution; but this causes a serious problem for us, because we cannot obey the Lord’s command to teach the gospel to “every creature” [9] in the world when some of those creatures are being killed before we can teach the gospel to them. If abortion ends before Christ returns, then it will be because the world saw that vasectomy is a logical, natural, and acceptable solution to their problem, and that abortion is an illogical, unnatural, and unacceptable solution to their problem. Vasectomy is natural in the sense that it automates a natural method of conception control, as mentioned in step 2. The emphasis of these steps will now shift from vasectomy to abortion.

5.     The Church must state, or restate if it has already been stated, that it is a mortal sin to vote for a lawmaker that promises to legalize unnecessary abortion. The apostles said “thou shalt not murder a child in abortion” [10], and until the Lord returns, we are bound to whatever the apostles bound us to [11]. Accessories are those who are not present at the scene of a crime. In the case of unnecessary abortion, the first accessory is the lawmaker that legalizes unnecessary abortion and the second accessories are those that vote for that lawmaker. Voting is a participation in government. Therefore, voting for one who promises to legalize unnecessary abortion is a participation in murder. It’s the mortal sin of being a second accessory to the crime of murder.

6.     The Church must formally excommunicate everyone who is a manifest heretic on the question of abortion. Among these manifest heretics, the greatest ones are the first accessories, the lawmakers that promise to legalize unnecessary abortion. That’s because they are the ones who are in the public light. However, there are some who are not lawmakers that also profess to be “pro-choice.” These need to be formally excommunicated as well. The only way that members of a church will know that it is a mortal sin to vote for a lawmaker that promises to legalize abortion is if they see these manifest heretics getting formally excommunicated. The potential loss of tax-exempt status is a small price to pay for the potential salvation of souls that are conceived in original sin.

7.     The Church must clarify to the world, what it means to be formally excommunicated. The world currently sees excommunication as a punishment. It is not a punishment. It is no more than the Church informing individuals that God has not yet given them the gift of sanctifying grace (ie. “has not yet saved them”). This is a tremendous act of love. Even though they would be forbidden to attend the Church’s weekly communional meeting [12], they would be encouraged to attend the Church’s weekly instructional meeting with the hope that God will eventually give them the gift of sanctifying grace. If, and only if, that happens will the Church have the authority to restore them to full communion.

Footnotes

[1] The disciples were first “called Christians” at Antioch (acts 11:26). The word “called” comes from the Greek word “chrematizo,” which means divinely intimated. The purpose of saying we “are called Christians,” instead of saying we “are Christians”, is to encourage our true brothers and sisters in Christ, whoever they may be, to test our spirits (1John 4:1). They do not need to be afraid of us failing their test, because that would not require them to say to us that we are liars. That would only require them to say to us that the one who called us Christians is a liar.

[2] An unnecessary abortion is one that is not necessary to do in order to save the life of the mother. In almost all pregnancies, abortion is unnecessary. If the mother’s chance of surviving a delivery is a certain percentage, say X percent, then the abortion is (100 – X) percent necessary. The lesser this percentage, the more unnecessary the abortion is. A necessary abortion is like a miscarriage. It’s the result of sin and death coming into the world after The Fall. Unbelievers have always had the desire to kill their unwanted babies, thinking that it puts their souls in heaven. In ancient times, they had to wait for their unwanted babies to open the womb before killing them (Lev 20:2-5). Today, they are able to kill them before they open the womb.

[3] The vicar of Peter is the bishop that has the same duty apostle Peter had. He is the bishop who must humbly admit, as Peter did, that “God made choice among us” bishops “that by my mouth the nations should hear the Word of the gospel and believe” (Acts 15:7). This bishop’s responsibility is to find, and promulgate, the right answers to essential questions of faith or morals. He may call meetings into session so that other theologians can help him find the right answers to the most difficult questions of faith or morals.

[4] A destructive error is one that leads people who believe it to eternal destruction, and a nondestructive error is one that does not lead people who believe it to eternal destruction. The “gates of hell” (Matthew 16:19) are destructive errors taught by a heretic, or in the words of the 2nd Council of Constantinople (553 AD), “the death-dealing tongues of heretics.”

[5] The Church consists of all who agree with all promulgations, made by the vicar of Peter, that answer essential questions of faith or morals. Not all members of the Church agree with the promulgations that answer nonessential questions of faith or morals. A nonessential question is one whose answer does not need to be believed in order for one to have eternal salvation. An essential question is one whose answer needs to be believed in order for one to have eternal salvation. Essential questions are essential for salvation. When a person goes from being unsaved to being saved, they go from merely believing that the answers to essential questions are true to believing and knowing that the answers to the essential questions are true (John 6:69). God saves his people by giving them sanctifying grace through the Holy Spirit, and the works of his people give us evidence that he has saved them. Saved people can become unsaved if they stop abiding in Christ long enough to be cut off from him (John 15:6).

[6] The wages of sin is death, but there is a sin that is not unto death. A mortal sin is unto death (Romans 6:23, 1John 5:16-17). A sin that is not unto death is also called a venial sin. Venial means pardonable. Unlike mortal sins, venial sins can be pardoned before they are even committed. The use of conception control in a non-levirate marriage is an example of a venial sin. An example of a nondestructive error is to say that a certain venial sin is a mortal sin. That is an error, but it does not lead, the one who believes that error, to eternal destruction.

[7] The only time, in sacred scripture, that a man exercised conception control is when it was a mortal sin for him to do so (Gen 38:7-10, Leviticus 18:16, Deuteronomy 25:5). The problem that God had with Onan was not where the seed went, but where the seed did not go. The whole purpose of the exception to the law of incest is for a man to give his deceased brother a baby. Onan violated that purpose. It is a mortal sin to exercise conception control in a levirate marriage, but unless the writings of the apostles say otherwise, the bishops never had the authority to say that the exercise of conception control in a non-levirate marriage is a mortal sin. That is a nondestructive error. At the present time, bishops do not understand that their error is preventing abortion from ending. The only way abortion will end before Christ returns is if the bishops are able to see that, even though their error does not lead souls to eternal destruction, it indirectly results in unbelievers killing their babies in the womb needlessly.

[8] An unwanted fetus is one whose father and mother do not know anyone, including themselves, who are able and willing to provide for his or her needs. They are left with two choices, one is for her to deliver the child to an orphanage and the other is for her to seek a legal, or illegal, abortion.

[9] Mark 16:15

[10] “The Teachings of the 12 Apostles to the Gentiles” (aka “The Didache”), chapter 2, verse 2

[11] Matthew 16:19, 18:18

[12] The church began with weekly communional meetings (Acts 20:7 and “The Didache” chapter 14). The original intent was for dialog, rather than monologue, to occur at the communional meetings. Dialogue is a better way for all members to learn from one another and to edify one another. The original Greek words used to describe Paul’s speech were “dialegomai” (verse 7) and “homileo” (verse 11). Different Greek words are used for monologues, such as teaching and preaching. Instructional meetings are mostly monologue, and they need to be provided for unsaved people that are interested in learning more about God, Satan, and the gospel.
